This recipe has been vis-ð-vis longer than I have. It is one of those recipes that I never mess up. I make this for instructor lunches and press into muffin tins for unlimited lunch-size pieces. It never lasts long in our house.

- 8 cups puffed wheat cereal
- u2153 cup butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- u00bd cup corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
The instruction how to make Easy Puffed Wheat Cake
- Pour cereal into a large bowl.
- Melt butter in a saucepan higher than medium-low heat. stir up brown sugar, corn syrup, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract into melted butter; cook until merger begins to bubble, 5 to 10 minutes. cut off surgically remove saucepan from heat, pour butter mixture over cereal, and mix up to until cereal is coated. Spoon and press cereal join up into muffin cups or a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
